Who needs this?
PSP + Genesis Emulator + sonic rom = Ownage
DS + Genesis Emulator + Sonic 1 Megamix = Futher Ownage.
S2B - fanboy wars = total ownage, now stfu.
Me <3 DS over PSP. But the point still stands.
Portable + Genesis emulator + Sonic = ownage.
BUMP: Nintendo Power Update
Sorry about the hugeness, but then people complain about the smallness. :P
If anybody wants, I'll scan it without the rediculous watermark-it's not like "Nintendo Power" is top-secret or anything...
Either they aren't real screenshots and are mockups, or that game is seriously buggy. Sonic is halfway into the waterslide in the LZ screenshot, and seems to be floating pretty high on the FZ screenshot. I'm hoping it's the former.
It's not rediculous by the way, it's ridiculous.
In the Final Zone shot, Sonic's walking in in the air, also with some strange graphics. And Labyrinth Zone is screwed too.
OHNOES! Shitty port of teH classic!
Most likely, those are just bugs, and they'll end up getting corrected before it's final release. At least I hope so.
Those are clearly mockups... bad ones, too. Makes me wonder if they've really made progress or not.
I'd've hoped they'd at least improve on the graphics, somewhat(not to advance sprites, since those are oh so hated). Oh well, beggars can't be choosers, as they say.
Does "based on an early playtest" mean what I think it means? Anyone else thinking what I'm thinking?
I wish they'd make a collection of all classics (s1 + s2 + s3k) in one cart. And that would be better made for NDS (as it has a larger screen resolution). Hey, they don't even need to make a new game, just port Sonic JAM and that's it.
At least the hardly visible watermark isn't on every picture, in shitty JPG format, and 100x100 sized. Your welcome btw.
I have the original LARGE picture if you guys still want it.
And agreed on this. I thought they were doing that for the GBA like they did with Namco Museum. They also said that about the MegaMan Collection, which got cancelled for the GBA as well.
Since when do Sonic's quills point upwards when he's falling on the waterslide?
Since always. =P
Yeah. Many graphics in this game made use of the TV output blurriness to fake in-between colors or transparencies, which won't be seen in the GBA. They should have really changed that.
This has to be one of the laziest ports in history.
Then again, at least they didn't redo it with SAdvance graphics.
