It's ridiculously brighter and sharper, and doesn't cramp your hands because it has the horizontal layout. =D

Not as good as the DS lite's screens though, but still fucking great.

Nothing that concerns this place in the least.
DS Lite is another waste of money, just like the Game Boy Micro.

I guess making things look brighter and more vibrant is a waste of money. =(

If done without shinking the case fine, but the original DS is small enough as is.

But seriously the GP32 kicks ass, and the GP2X even more so.

Dunno about you, but the original barely fits in my pocket.

And I live in Texas, where everything is bigger. Even the pockets.

As a matter of fact, it is, because the Nintendo DS was bright enough, already. It had a built-in light-up screen, for crying out loud. As for the Micro, that was unnecessary, because they had already released the Game Boy Advance SP, which ALSO had a built-in light-up screen. Another thing about the Micro I hate is it's lack of backwards compadibility. They removed it's ability to play games from the original Game Boy and the Game Boy Color, and yet they had the nerve to charge that piece of crap for a higher price than the SP.

And my GP32 doesn't fit in my pocket at all, but it fits my hands better then any Nintendo handheld(And it's got a nice big lighted screen). Of the Nintendo handhelds I've played(which would be everything GB Pocket thou GBASP) the GBA is the only one that didn't cramp my hands due to it being overly small.

The DS lite would only be worth it if you could get one in exchange for a DS regular. Otherwise there is not enough to make me want to wate that much money. (maybe if it had Gameboy and Gameboy color support)

Jeffery Mewtamer: I would like to see your GP32 play DS games. :P

The problem I have with it is Nintendo always does this with handhleds. There have been so many remodles of Gameboys and Advances and whatnot it's rediculous. Their philosophy seems te be "HAY GUYS LETS SELL A NEW VERSION WITH A COUPLE MINUTE THINGS THAT WE SHOULD HAVE INCLUDED IN THE FIRST PLACE LLOLZ" for rediculous amounts of money. If its the same damn thing you already own, just with ZOMG BRIGHTER SCREEN, it should be half the damn price.

    Also, PSP am superior :P

It's amazing how when I mentioned the Game Boy Micro, just in passing, the conversation turned to OMG GBM < GBA:SP GBM IS WASTE OF MONEY.

Then when I mention the DS lite in passing, the conversation turned to OMG DS LITE < DS (or in Shade's case, < PSP) DS LITE IS WASTE OF MONEY.

I wasn't aware I had so much power over you people. (or at least Mystical Ninja =P)

Hey, you HEY EVERYONE I AM A COMPLETE ASSHOLE PLEASE MOCK ME. The DS lite actually launched at a price lower than the original DS did. And hey, the DS lite is also selling at the same exact price the original was until the DS lite was launched! OH SHI-

You DID mention the Game Boy Micro and DS Lite, yes, but I was the first to mention the fact that it was a waste of money. So, I think it's the other way around, when you said something about having "power" over us. :P

You know what I find hillarious? People could NEVER find a valid reason for saying the PSP sucks, without comparing it to the Nintendo DS.

That's true. If the PSP had no competition, I wouldn't complain. But when there's something so much better for so much cheaper, it's only sensible unless you're a homebrew guy.

And even in the Homebrew department, the PSP has competition in the form of the GP2X. And the GP2X is cheaper, and made by a company that actuallys SUPPORTS homebrew. The only thing the PSP has going for it(When compared to both it's Commercial and Homebrew competition) is the fact it can hit 333Mhz without overclocking(I've heard the GP2X's overclock is limited to about 300Mhz on it's main cpu).

Back to the original topic: I'll be sticking to playing the original version of Sonic 1 via DrMD on the GP32.

The PSP has like no games.

Daxter... Lumines... I can't think of much else.

There's GTA but that ended up being ported.

Oh, right, the Mega Man games. I'd say Street Fighter except the nub killed its controls.

There, valid reason... No games, more expensive than competition, which is also getting more games that I like.

And it's a damn shame, too.

The thing that pisses me off about all the PSP n00bs is all they're interested in is pirating the already-crappy PSP games.

If the PSP had some games like Metroid Prime Hunters, Mario Kart, Animal Crossing: Wild World, or *ahem* --

    Sonic Rush

Going for it, then you know what? I'd buy one now. Until that point, I'm not interested. I do plan on buying a GP, I don't know which one though, I only have about $200 to spend, someone refer me, please?

SONIC 1 IS COMING TO GBA!? Damn...I would have never known that. Luckely I looked at the first page and not any after that. Since every damn page after the first has nothing the fuck to do with the topic.
