This is kinda old by now - it was already posted on CulT.

I'm sure everybody noticed the wrecking ball by now as well. Yeah, wtf.

Im sad that they didn't make Sonic use the sprites S3 , or at least with 8 walking frames, because that walking sprite is from the 6 frame walking.

-EDIT- Also, they could have fixed the moutain in the BG so that it has no holes in it.

Then some of you people would complain like you would if the spin dash was automatically included-Sega's claiming it as a "perfect" port, and it would not be if it had such "features".

I personally think it would be an improvement, but whatever.

Also-is it just me, or do those screens absolutely not look within the GBA's resolution?

Hmm... GHZ, LZ, MZ, SLZ, SYZ, SBZ... Are they counting Final Zone amongst the 'seven'? Cause it's not a 7th zone... The true 7th zone is the ending 'cutscene'. =P

In the second to last shot, half the boss is off screen, wouldn't that make it just a tad hard to play? and the ball on the chain seems to be using the wrong palette.

And am I the only one that noticed that all the screen shots sega's putting up of this seem to have the DS's border around them? ya know, the 8 pixels on left and right and the 16 top and bottom, when you're playing a GBA game on it it's got them.

Honestly, I don't think I'll bother buying this game, might try out a ROM of it, but geeze, there's hacks that already have the same stuff and then some, like Sonic Megamix, and that uses a proper screen resolution at least.

Edit : Didn't notice the rush stuff up there, it uses models actualy, it'd be hard to use sprites for alot of the stuff, like the underwater fans in water palace, the spinning things in the first level, ect.

And it might not support hardware anti-aliasing, but you don't really even need it if you know what you're doing, you can just anti-aliase the textures as needed, and not use any kind of outlining on the model (dunno why but there's an outline on the rush models if you looke closely).

Part of Team Megamix, but haven't done any actual work in ages.
Technically it's a zone, just because it only has one act, shares the SBZ2 art, and is the final battle doesn't make it a non-zone.

I thought it was just to look cool-it certainly did. And please, don't insult Rush's 3D graphics-they were incredible for the hardware.

They were good, but it was no Veiwtifull Joe or Lost in Blue. If you'e going say that one [or two] simple [cell shaded] 3D model is "incredible for the hardware" I'm going to say please, don't insult the Nintendo Dual Screen's hardware. =P
Whoever took those screen shots is probably using Intelligent System's NITRO capture utility, rather than the video out from a normal or SDK GBA-player.

Those are some rather cheap mock-ups.

Has anyone seen that video of somebody playing it? It's disgusting, Spring Yard appears to be going in slow motion.

And there's a sign underneath the screen saying "95% Complete." ;)
