Wait if I remember correctly The Simon Wai Beta of Sonic 2 was released/found in December 1998 (can't remember the date). is this somehow correlating with the anniversary of that release sooo long ago?

 

I'll be using BlueStacks to make a TGC video about this game tomorrow. And lay off Gene -- if I knew whatever it is he knew, I'd probably be doing the same thing.

Very excited. Unfortunately I already bought Sonic 2 on iOS, so you won't get my sale for that. I will pick it up on Android though.

I'm still frustrated that the Ouya doesn't have Sonic 1 on it yet. It works perfectly well as a side-loaded app, it should really just get quick-ported.

Real talk. I know how you unlock Hidden Palace Zone. First you have to create/link your SEGA ID, link your facebook account and rate the app 5 stars.

Any rating lower and Hidden Palace disappears from the level select menu and related data is deleted from your tablet.

This is better than all of Sonic Lost World. Should've scraped that game for the addition of other cut levels to Sonic 2. So stoked. Too bad I hate tablet controls, but I will still play with all smiles.
