Sonic 1 and 2 getting the Sonic CD treatment by Taxman and Stealth

So, I've been meaning to ask this for a while now. Is there any reason why I can't download these or move them to my phone's SD card? Am I just doing something wrong from the play store?

 

I take it Android is getting these soon, too?

I was more on about the completed saves in Sonic 1. :v:

 

I'm not about to search through over 100 pages to find out a little tidbit, so I'll just ask. Has anyone figured out what the Japanese text is in Sonic 1 (2013) yet? If you don't know what I'm talking about, I saw it by tapping S-E-G-A in the No Save Mode startup sequence, like you would for initiating level select, but over and over to get multiple Ring sounds. I'd take a picture... but it's on my phone, which is my only available camera.

 

Android or iOS? Trying here on Android I can't recreate that.

Now the question is, will we ever be officially getting Knuckles in Sonic CD? Or multiplayer in CD and 1?

 

2-player mode, complete with Time Travel. I know it's a pipe-dream, but some of the stuff you could do with that would be awesome!

 

Not sure if this has been noted or not but there should be a ring in the alternate path in LZ Act 1 after using the scrolling hidden platform. Granted, it didn't exist in REV0, but is in both REV1 and 2.

 

Erm so I was just notified of an update for Sonic 2 on iOS.

What the hell does this mean? Typo or some kind of in-joke? I know Apple can be pretty flexible with update descriptions (I've written some odd things in my time) but I'm surprised they let this through:

 

..."More games added"?

 

Probably a menu option that shows what other Sega games are available for purchase.

That usually means the game sold well enough that someone's like, "WELL, if you like THIS game, why not try THESE?"

 

Alright, Sonic 1 + 2 have both been updated on the Google Play Store to match the recent iOS updates.
