Shadow Generations makes me want a remake of Sonic 2006

Rather than a remake of Sonic 06 which would include its own set of baggage just remake the levels and release them as DLC.

Then again as we saw with the Sonic Generations DLC situation Sega is allergic to money

 

I mean literally we will get new DLC next week.

not that i expect any more DLC after that but that would mainly be because they will focus on Frontiers 2 -also Frontiers somehow did get additional content and levels…for free-

 

Would be cool if SxShG was planned to have long term support as a sort of ultimate anthology of Sonic's history with semi-regular level DLC. Have basically every level ever remade in Generations sell em for like $5 a pop and you squeeze like $400 out of die hards who need every level and scrape a bit extra out of the folks who go "Oh hey I liked Ice Cap as a kid"

 

Sega is unfamiliar with the Xenoverse 2 model, and we're all worse off for it.

 

Don't put that evil on us, we would be on the 10th year of downloadable content for Sonic Forces if that was the case

 

I'd be happily buying new costumes for my Rent-a-Fur

 

I don't know why Forces would have to be the base in this scenario we're making up.

 

Closest game to Xenoverse 2 , only like 1 year apart and that’s where my mind went in this hypothetical scenario , nevermind me

 

I'm not gonna lie, I'd buy the Sonic Forces Metal Virus level pack
