I saw a couple of Pico to PC ports... but I had no idea there were that many. Are these the same or just similar to their Pico counterparts (a.k.a. will they need extra pages on Sega Retro)
Unfortunately we'll need a ginuea pig to purchase them to find out. I'd assume they'd be similar but perhaps with a few enhancements, such as better voice audio.
Sorry that there's not much to bump the thread on, but... It'd be nice if some other folks around here contributed some to et the Pico games dumped. I'd consider (again), but I already did a pretty hefty handful with my US games shipment, and I already pledged some money on a Satellaview game down the line, The two items, for reference, are; Keyboard Pico 2 Set with Sawattemiyou!
Did I ever mention that I made pages for every single western-released Sega Pico game. Because I did Having problems with Japanese stuff though http://segaretro.org/User:Black_Squirrel/Pico I'm struggling to find the missing pieces of the puzzle (aka half decent scans) and I want to avoid trawling through Japanese auction if I can. I haven't been making pages because I don't trust the romanisations. Also we don't have dumps of a lot of these... and I don't have much to say about them ("x is a Pico game"... "y is a Pico game") one error I found fairly recently Japanese versions of A Year at Pooh Corner are wrongly being mixed up with Pooh-san no Ichinichi (プーさんのいちにち), an entirely different game. Some ROM sites are wrong. Sega Retro was wrong until I corrected it (though it was my fault it was wrong in the first place). The actual Japanese release of A Year at Pooh Corner is called Pooh-san to Tanoshii Nakama-tachi (プーさんとたのしいなかまたち). this is why looking for scans is a good idea
Tanoshii Nakama-tachi isn't dumped yet. Anyhow, probably what it is is that the other sites are slow to update their no-intro DATs n' such.
I'm here to ruin your day. Maybe. "Touch Pico" (さわって ピコ) erm err right this is a different system which uses the Pico branding. From what I gather it's one of those "touch x, hear y" things to entertain toddlers. It has software, but doesn't connect to a screen. also "PicoLand" (ピコランド) an arcade machine presumably with a purpose The C14-GM10F-1 television by Hitachi. It has Pico branding. Its existence might have been mentioned before. Again... not sure why it exists. The "DS-PICOシリーズ" range, which consists of two Sanrio-sponsored games: - サンリオのパーティへいこう! おりょうり・おしゃれ・おかいもの (2008) - サンリオピューロランド ワクワクおかいもの ステキなお部屋をつくりましょ! (2010) it's the gift that keeps on giving

I only knew of the cyan/purple ones.
As an ammendment to that Touch Pico stuff do not confuse with these! Touch pad covers. As in physical covers for the touch pad of a regular Sega Pico. Traditionally you'd get yellow covers. Japan thought it might be fun to sell "themed" ones in boxes not too dissimilar to Touch Pico software. isn't this system fun
How long until we say the Pico was more pimped out than the 2600 :v: I find it somewhat funny that Compile Heart handled the DS-Pico games on their own (rather than through Sega)

Team Europe has made a flash cartridge for Pico. Mass piracy of Pokemon games is bound to happen with this.
Remembering of course that this is a promotional image and that the "default" cartridge colour is yellow (even if the real products weren't): if it wasn't already obvious, the South Korean Pico library is bigger than both the US and European sets (and presumably Asia/Brazil too). Interestingly this particular model is being called a "Neo Pico" (네오피코). Samsung don't seem to have been responsible for this one - credits go to "Xity Enterprise". also http://imageshack.us/a/img254/4530/a591.jpg
