So apparently Sega of Europe started a new studio earlier this year and I didn't know about it. Just found this interview with the Studio Manager of Sega Hardlight, which was working on an action-adventure PSVita title which is now put on hold so that the studio can make games for iOS/Android/Windows and other OS. The studio has some of the people that worked at Sega Racing Studio, Sega's R&D team and people they specifically hired for making digital products and supporting other Sega games. (examples like Sonic Unleashed and Bayonetta are named) There are 21 people working there as permanent staff there at the moment, though they are also looking at hiring more people. Right now the only project by them that's publicly known about it a PC port of Viking: Battle for Asgard. (better late than never I guess)

Here's the full interview with the Studio Manager, it will be interesting to see what they are going to be making.
