    You could probably get older games working by running WINE on windows, I made a thread about WINE3d for windows and there is also this http://www.reactos.org/wiki/Arwinss

    They don't make anything to last anymore. It's about how much money they can get from you on repairs and making you upgrade to a new model. Sure, somethings like computers become obselete fast. But, I'm talking about everything else. People just throw away junk all the time. It's a throw-away society these days.

    ...except for users with many games [that would be a nightmare for me to make WINE-configurations for all my games DX]
    I think Windows Vista / 7 / Server + Linux (Virtual Box) + Windows 3 (DosBox) is the best combination.
