Hmm, didn't think of that. You're more than likely correct.
They also probably weren't sprites to use together at the same time, so not having the cape on his back wasn't going to be noticeable.
Please forgive the stupidity of this question, but what tool did you use to open the file?
I'm guessing Tile Layer Pro or something similar.
I've tried that exact file with said tool (and had tried something else similar, TileEd2002, prior to asking), but all I'm getting is the usual gobbledygook, even after trying to interpret it with all the usual methods.
Speaking of SatAM, did you know there is a "Dinobot" in the "Hyper Sonic" Episode? Looks nothing like the one in Sonic 2 Beta, but hey, could be a reference.
EDIT: Also, in the episode they are to save a large emerald. Lol HPZ =P
if you set TLP to "Genesis" it ALMOST works for the character sprites.. things are still a bit wonky though.. :P
