There are no bug fixes in this game. Every bug documented as working in the PC version works perfectly fine here.

Hell, I'm pretty sure there's new ones in this, though.

Were you able to glitch Tails into Emerald Coast in the PC version? I ask because I tried this in th XBLA version (yup, suckered in and bought it) and it wouldn't work.

Not normally no, I just use the giant holes in the loading areas casino/station to jump up and fly around the map. I doubt they fixed that one.

I think that's the one thing they attempted to actually fix in the PC version, but as Dude said they hardly did a good job of it.

This does remind me of one thing I did notice they added so people couldn't go over to areas with unsupported characters, at least I think it was this version last time I remember playing DX...

But with the elevators in the Station Square hotel, you used to be able to walk freely in the elevator causing it to bug out with you in it (and you could ultimately use it to get characters in Emerald Coast). But with the XBLA port, they added this weird collision thing where it slows the character to a sudden stop when he/she walks into the elevator. But again, not sure if it was added specifically to this port, but it's something I noticed that stuck out (from entering/re-entering the chao garden 92738146 times).

I've gotten Tails into EC already a few times. Just stand right outside the doors leading the the main part of Station Square and fly there.

Other bugs, like jumping up the Elevator leading to Twinkle Park are still in, and will still get you stuck if you save it.

... other than that, I agree to this idea.

It was obivious that a girl made that video considering all those text emotes.

But yeah PC version > all other versions existed. We the fans can warp the PC version into anything we want.

I disagree with that actually, it's rotten balls to raise chao on the DX version (on ALL versions) because of how shitty the garden is. Porting them to SA2B via GBA is always the better solution, not to mention SA2B has all those glorious AR hacks. (even if they break your console after a while...)

Unless someone hacks SADX o contain the better chao garden and have a better way to raise hero/dark chao than buying ten fruits. (Approximately 10, sometimes it's 9 but I think it depends on your chao's stamina grade or how hungry they are...) Actually, why hasn't anyone done that yet?

Oh and removing glitches is lame but I guess I can't complain since SEGA's bug fixes just break the game more. Nice job SEGA, you really know how to keep the fans happy. (No sarcasm intended.). Is the Speed Highway glitch with Tails still there?

nope, the event trigger checks to see if you're tails and disables if you are. It's a quick assembly edit to put back in IIRC, but still requires hacking.

You can still fly into the building, but I think it blocks the area that triggers Goin' Down.

That's retarded, fuck you SEGA. I don't understand why they would care if you can cheat your way into a level or not. It doesn't help you at all, doesn't give you extra shit (unless you raise chao, and I know that it wasn't popular... :(), so why do they patch it? Not just SEGA but any game company. There are some stupid patches out there that don't offer anything to the player but serve to take something away from them, even if it's something they didn't intend, or something that only serves to, well, example: I always hated Tails' levels. You can't explore or move freely, you're on a clock. So the unintentional holes made the game more enjoyable for me. If they suddenly released a patch that tracks Gamecubes (I know they never will, because mine can't connect to the internet) and took all the known glitches away, it's like taking away some enjoyment. Especially since these glitches don't damage your game. And really, who's ever benefited from glitching Tails into Angel Island, or Knuckles outside the map in the Egg Carrier chao portal, or Gamma to that thing under Mystic Ruins where he can't even get back up so all you can do is die anyway? What's the point?

    TL;DR: it's pointless. :argh: /rant

Anyway, just out of curiosity, can you still do that thing with Big in the chao garden? Where you fish in the pool and move the camera stick or press (maybe X and Y) to make the camera zoom out? It's no significant glitch but it's still fun for stalking watching your chao.

    Jack shit.
Seems like it. Games shouldn't be patched whether they have game breaking glitches or not.

Maybe he's angry that they spent all their time fixing bugs that let the player mess with the game in a harmless manner instead of fixing the bugs that like kill you during a level.

I fell through the floor in Final Egg. Twice. What the fuck.

Pretty much that. The glitches game companies always fix are always against the players. If someone gets enjoyment out of something, why not endorse it? And why not fix the glitches that are actual problems? Like getting stuck in the pinball machines or like what was already said, falling through the floor in Final Egg? (Was it with Gamma? That happened to me once.)

Edit: I need to consider a female avatar...

Off topic but why? Does it actually matter what gender people perceive you as online? Just curious

On topic: For all we know, some of the game breaking bugs are ones caused by how collision detection and so on is handled, and fixes would require major rewrites.

This. They probably fixed the bugs that required the least effort.
