Also, unfortunately, this is quite impossible, because + - the voice actor that did the voice over of Eggman in up until Sonic Heroes died years ago.

Seriously, I don't know what to make of this anouncement-announcement. It's rather confusing.

 

Uh... classic Sonic design? Doesn't particularly affect the games... eh I wish, but I hope it's something better than that even.

 

For a Sonic game, yes. That's not a hard bar to clear these days, though. They're leagues behind other developers.

 

I always thought that they would show Sonic 4 the way it looks now, then before release they would go "Whoops we were just kidding!" and pull the rug out from under the project completely and replace it with a Compilation Disc.

It happened with Xtreme. Why not?

I wish we didn't have to wait until Thursday. Frankly, I'm more excited for the Colours news, but that's probably just because it's due sooner than the franchise-changer.

Maybe they're going to redesign Sonic again!

 

Robotnik's name is Robotnik in the States and Europe again?

Hey, it's not majorly franchise changing, and it doesn't focus on just the games, so it's one plausible change in the franchise that could happen.

Of course, 50% of this is also my wishful thinking.

 

I don't think it'll happen, but because of the recent formlettergizmos I'm going to say that something in Colours that hasn't been shown yet will not look like it used to.

I'm betting on a redesign Eggman, and maybe they'll sort out the name.

 

No, they're announcing a game that serves as a counterpart to Colors. It's a first person shooter named "Sonic Gray and Brown".

 

This. Announcements of announcements are not news, and if it's anything like how they handled the Sonic 4 delay, this hype machine will bite Kevin in the arse.

That said, they'll prolly reveal Casino Street for the first time on Thursday.

 

And so, I return to not giving a rat's ass. Marvelous PR work as always.
