Remember, just because it's a Trial/Demo version, doesn't mean there won't be anything there that's different. Case in point, some of the Trial/Demo versions of various Sonic games we have archived were still their development phase. I wonder if that Riders trial uses renders on the character select instead of Production IG's artwork. I remember playing a demo at Walmart around the time of release with that specific difference from the final.
