Playing as Tails and Kncukles in the first level of Sonic CD is just great.

BTW I'm... not too sure when was Sonic 1 ported to C? Rob asked me the other day if anyone had ported it and I wasn't sure.

Hey Stealth a few weeks ago on my forum an argument about Sonic Genesis broke out. Someone was defending it without having played it XD
Anyway, can I distribute your Rom just to show how it should have been or do you not want other people to post it?

Look at the title screen vs the original. Stealth's even LOOKS better.

 

This is some nice stuff. Though, I know it's for the sake of accuracy and all, but having full-sized Genesis HUDs and stuff makes everything feel kind of cramped. Wouldn't have minded if you kept the S1G resized HUD.

The URL works provided you don't give it a referrer. I.e. copying and pasting the URL into the addressbar will work.

AWESOME job on the GBA Sonic 1! (I wish I could get VBA to run faster though.)
I can't fully appreciate the Tails and Knuckles in Sonic CD though, the fanboy in me just can't see past this unspeakable sacrilege to appreciate the amazing hacking skills needed to do such a questionable but technically impressive thing.
Having the level on a normal Mega Drive is cool though, even though I don't really see the point.

 

I announced to one of my friends earlier that I was gonna play Sonic Genesis for the GBA. He almost chocked on his food and said I needed to get my head checked. That was before. 10 minutes later, after him witnessing the amazement of what Stealth has created, he shut up promptly and was even interested to know if this project was gonna continue. So I congratulate you on not only showing up Sega in the biggest way possible, but for actually making people interested when Sonic Genesis for the GBA is mentioned. (Even if it is only a hack or whatever).
