You're not the only one. I would have, but I don't have a twitter account, and I deem it an even bigger sin than the Sonic forums (which I did sign up for and post on).

 

I signed up and decided to use it as my own personal soapbox to SEGA. It was fun, and I'm glad I did it. Not sure how you see it as a sin, but to each their own. I'm just glad we made it without it boiling down to the wire.

I think I might keep shouting on my soapbox on #SEGA, I'm not sure. I seem to have garnered a little support from it, heh.

EDIT: After going on a half an hour tangent comprised of ~100, ~140 character tweets to #SEGA, you can't say I didn't try to do my part to get SEGA on the trendy topics as well. Stupid? Yes. Very stupid? No, not really. I enjoyed it.

I will laugh when they say And the Bonus Point reward is that this is a Sonic only game!

I also tweetet a little, but I think this whole Countdown thingy is kinda pointless, oh well..... hopefully I'm wrong and they show us something that makes us feel that it was worth the effort. :/

It's probably going to be not even a Screenshot or something like that, I have a feeling there, since All-Stars Racing is about to launch, it's not going to be something big and exciting, they currently don't focus on Needlemouse. My personal guess is that they probably going to reveal the real Title of the game, just a guess... .

 

After Megaman 9, I wouldn't be surprised if this was called Sonic 4.

 

Then they'd better have a damn good team to back it up and do it justice!

 

Basically this. Obviously I have high expectations for this game either way, however saying that this game is Sonic 4 comes with the assumption that it basically has to be as awesome if not more awesome than Sonic 2 and Sonic 3 and Knuckles. Now if they could pull it off great, Perhaps I should play a new Sonic game besides Sonic 3 for 11 years now, but still. If this is Sonic 4 they have to do it right.

Where is this bonus? It better be a screenshot!

 

Since the topic about it is locked, I would like to say that I listened to the whole podcast where SEGA's Constantine Hantzopoulos talked, and he never once said the words "Project Needlemouse will be a downloadable title". That may have been why the topic was locked, but it's still on Retro's main page as being a definite fact.

 

If it's Sonic 4, it better look like it, sound like it and play like it.

But it won't be, will it?

I hope that SEGA intends to release a video, as this would give us more information rather than just a few screenshots.

 

I don't know about you but im just waiting for Sega to cross off every body but Big and Froggy. Then post gameplay videos and say:
