Yeah tedious is an understatement for sure ! Got to get some level chunks going now, this should be fun ! May recreate all of the 8x8 or was it 16 x 16 tiles from the classic games in the future as well. p.s. IIRC, AXSX is built off of SonicGDK right? Is there a possibility that you might make these level chunks available for SonicGDK as well?
Right now they are exclusive to AXSX and CD remix . We'll see in the distant future though. If something interesting were going on with Unreal engine 4 and Sonic fan games, I'd probably be a little more open to seeing something like this happen. but right now there isn't really anything that grabs my interest.
The boards went through a relapse a good several months ago, losing a lot of content including posts and members that signed up during the timespan that was after their last proper full backup of the site. If you sign up and start the topic fresh, it'd be fine.
Don't want to bump the Xtreme release topic yet, but this post also concerns the progress plan for AXSX for the next week. Still a little ways off from starting true AXSX level layouts. because I'm still setting up blocks, and also switching gears to help with the next X-treme alpha level leak. I'm currently getting the level pack ready (with .def file side edits to go with Jolly's new camera position code) JollyRoger is also doing some code tweaks for that release. That means all the playable levels from build V037 that we have are about to drop, Including my favorite: The Gold Tile level. After the release is ready I'm not sure if Jolly wants to sit on it a little longer. But yeah I'm going back and forth between this and AXSX on my vacation. I'll be doing .def file stuff during the day and AXSX by night till the Leak release is done, at which point I'm back on AXSX full time. (unless Jolly needs anything from the .def file side for the next build release of V040)

Well guys ,,,,, almost 10 years have passed since I joined Senntient to participate in Xtreme conversations. I've been working on AXSX for almost 10 years now, OMG ! ! ! Where has the time gone? *Cries* I feel Sad that Senntient is closing. What a Noob! Also I'm no longer an "Electrician"
