However, I'll note; That won't translate very well out of Japanese. I mean, they can try; But it's harder in English; it's much more verbose.
$5 says it's more Puyo. 24*24 - 1 = 575 And the font for "575" is the same as the Puyo Fever 2/15th/Quest font:
Not to mention the girl on the left has hair that looks suspiciously like Ringo's; also the style of the teaser is identical to the Project RINGO one...
Yeah, I've been getting Puyo vibes about this one too. I'm not sure if there's more to 575 than Haiku syllable patterns, but it wouldn't be the first time (actually they've done it for most numbered (I.e., not pop or fever) titles) that they'd make a puyo game with a number-based pun or wordplay in the title or teaser.
As Yoshi 15 noted, for some reason, SEGA uses the numbers "24" as a code for "Puyo" (Puyo Puyo Fever was codenamed as "24245" at least in the hi-score table, and the teaser for 7 prominently featured the numbers "247") so, if they're keeping that kind of numbered codenames to this series, this might be related in some way or other. "Puyo Pop" was never used in Japan, and "Fever" is a pun on "Five", and then came "Fever Chu". So it seems that 7 is the only one so far without puns in their Japanese titles, probably for the best after seeing the last two...
Hm... I wish I knew more Japanese, but they both mentioned their names and they're apparently Magical Girls, so I would say Puyo Puyo is a possibility. Though after how badly 20th anniversary apparently did, I wouldn't think they'd be making more of it.
The reason is because the numbers can be read as such, partially or wholly; ? can be read as ??, and ? is ??. So take the first syllable of each, and you get ??, add a particle to the first kana and you have ?? or "puyo". Other examples from the top of my head is 346 for Segata Sanshiro (iirc used in their website), and 573 for Konami (highscore in Konami games = 57300).
Man, you'd think if they were making a Puyo Puyo they'd hype it up with Puyos. Or Arle. Or... y'know, something that'd vaguely resemble an actual Puyo game. Pft. Sega.

The girls look really generic and forgettable. I don't think that the game will sell well, but it's too early to tell.
Actually kinda glad it's not Puyo Puyo related, as even from the silhouettes the characters just looked generic as all hell. It's just some boring idol rubbish move along people.
