I probably won't play it but it's a cool idea. I've always wanted to play a decent Price is right game as well. I played a demo one on the pc and it repeated itself way too quickly.
Unfortunately, there hasn't been any progress. I've been doing lots of other stuff, including Gens/GS. (I'm currently adding an on-the-fly Unicode translation layer for Win32, which will allow it to have a single executable for both Unicode and ANSI.)
If it'll help anyone to deal with the wait, a DS version of Press Your Luck was just released to the USA/dumped, under the title Press Your Luck: 2010 Edition. Haven't tried it yet myself, but might be worth a shot until GS has more time to work on the MD version.
If it's anything like the Wii version, it isn't worth buying. The board layout is completely messed up: One of the more obvious errors is the fact that $3000/$4000/$5000 + One Spin is not in Square 4; instead, it's in multiple squares. PYL had a hard enough time coming up with fair boards (see "PICK A CORNER" with Whammys in corners), but this board is completely ridiculous.
I'll be the first to admit I have no idea how this game works (never aired down here as far as I know), so I just played far enough to get these screenshots of the board. Hope they're helpful in terms of its quality.
