I can't speak for any of the Persona stuff but I have seen people (possibly jokingly) suggest they're a planted leaker, as in it's a marketing strategy. Whether or not that's true, personally I honestly 100% believe in what they're saying, and I can't tell you why, just a gut feeling. Something to highlight about what they're saying is that the games are supposed to be remakes before they're full on live service, possibly so they can backtrack while still having a product to show for it (unlike Hyenas, which was a total risk from the start that they couldn't even try to pivot into a new direction) and to lessen any potential negative impact that revealing a live service aspect would have on fans of those games. The only thing that's a little weird is that both are separate projects when I can't imagine either alone being good starting points for Fortnite-tier collaborations, or even how Crazy Taxi is supposed to translate and compare to GTA Online. I feel like one of them is going to go before the other.
I don't think the GTA comparison is meant in a gameplay sense. I highly doubt they're going to make a Crazy Taxi game where you can just get out of the car and do things extensively. The more likely scenario is that it's just referring to the concept of having separate offline and online versions of these games like what Rockstar did with GTA V and GTA V online. It sounds pretty cool on paper, but it feels like such a tall order for SEGA. Also they need to market this stuff very carefully because GaaS topics have become increasingly volatile online. I think the 2 games they chose are pretty good for a Fortnite-esque business model all things considered. A lot of it will fall down to execution and word of mouth though. All in all, I am glad SEGA's taking a big initiative like this, regardless of whether it succeeds or runs them out of business. The status quo was just do unbearable for over a decade. As for the leaker "Midori", they've starting talking about Sonic projects recently (like mobile Chao and Fall Guys clone games), so it won't be long before we get a really good read on their credibility.
Of relevance due to the other claims: The Sonic - Fall Guys game information from Midori is apparently almost 100% correct. Tails Channel and Insider Gaming have both received footage of the game, apparently named Sonic Toys Party. The only reason I say almost 100% correct is because one detail doesn't sound right, and that's that the game uses Sonic and Friends designs. According to Tails Channel, it's just similar to those and the Nendoroid designs... We'll have to see about that. So, for what it's worth to you... this information sounds correct.
Footage of Jet Set Radio Remake's dev build leaked https://x.com/neptune_gx/status/1805338121459871885?s=46 Supposedly it's a remake of the first JSR and is completely separate from the Free to Play reboot. this is apparently the villain
That looks and sounds conceptually great. I much preferred JSR to JSRF, so hopefully when they say it's a remake of JSR they keep the mechanic where police would pour in and follow you through the level instead of making police encounters walled off boss fights. I think the idea of an open world JSR is incredible and exactly where the franchise needed to go. Considered me incredibly hyped.
I hope it's real and I like the idea of the remake and the new game sharing the same tech and look. Also like what looks like the the use of the Dreamcast prototype on the advertising boards Really happy with what SEGA Japan are doing of late
Someone made a thread compiling all the leaks so far https://x.com/cybafunka/status/1806146231325868299 Spoiler I still have no idea how all of this leaked but it looks legit
https://twitter.com/SEGA_OFFICIAL/status/1807591200313975244 Genuinely a little more sold on Crazy Taxi from this. Yeah Kenji Kanno's there and all that but I like how they even remembered the real life crazy taxi from the old Sega Arena Soga.
Nice to see some of the old SEGA heads are there , hopefully training up the new staff . Really looking forward to this . Just a shame it seems a long way off
I'm really excited for the new Crazy Taxi of all things, I hope that it has local multiplayer and solo-arcade modes instead of just being online only.

I looked at the Shinobi leak and went "Yup. That's Shinobi.". The new Crazy Taxi looks cool too. This makes me wonder when we're getting an official update on these games.
The Shinobi footage looks fantastic, but something feels off about that Crazy Taxi footage. Maybe it's the car engine noise, I don't know.
Crazy Taxi looks so promising even at the early stage and with a dire quality feed. The new Shinobi looks like a flash game and hate that sort of look that is common on so many modern-day 2D games.
