I think I got confused, then. I thought they meant there was a shortcut in Viridian to Fuchsia. So after I beat Daisy and looked all over Viridian like the total derp I am sometimes, I gave up and went down Cycling Road, as you intended. (Forgot the name at the time.) The gym progression is much nicer in this hack, I like that the Viridian Gym isn't the last stop before the Elite Four.
