Why avoid this thread? There is no real news yet except a probable confirmation of intent to make a Persona 5, which was already an eventual probability anyway. I mean, that is kind of why I am laughing at NeoGaf having a 5 page thread on it. It's just a domain registration >_> Anyway the games supposedly aren't directly connected anyway. I doubt it will center around the same characters either, except probably having Igor and Margret. Edit: I would crap happy bricks if this were on 3DS. The more I can avoid consoles, the better. Likely it will be on PS3/4, though.
That's just NeoGAF getting hyped for a big new game. And while it's just a domain registration, it does mean that the game will probably be announced sooner than later (probably TGS). Also, like I said, I haven't finished Persona 3 nor have I begun playing P4A, I rather not get spoilers for those games. Actually, Persona 3 and 4 (and obviously 4 Arena) take place in the same universe. While the plot probably won't be directly related, cameos and references are not unlikely.
Ahem... ALL MY HYPE That is all. TimmiT, you really should finish Persona 3, it's honestly my favorite so far. Persona 4 was amazing too but it was a bit weird compared to P3.
I'm almost done with the main campaign, I'm in December. It's alright, but I liked Persona 4 (Golden) a lot more. Mostly cause I like the characters and premise a lot more. Also direct command. (I know this is a thing in P3P)

DOES ANYBODY WANT TO TALK ABOUT MURDERS!? I'm finally going through Persona 4 on PS2. I think the only thing I really find annoying is the rare instance while in a dungeon where the enemies decide to go "Fuck you" and multi-target magic spam and it kills Yu. And as anyone who plays the games knows: MC Dies, it's game over. Boy, did that make Kanji's Bath House a pain.
Was it Darkness? Darkness does that. But yeah with that incessant use of "Oh your main is unconscious your friends are completely helpless and can't revive you from being unconscious oh well game over" I play the game on Beginner just for the 10 free revives so I don't get fucked over by a random enemy.
I don't remember if it was The Darkness. It was a mob of three witch enemies spamming electric magic. Mind you, I'm also using Sarasvati on Yu because of that wonderful 5SP regen skill.
Wonderous Magi, that's the bint. Made those last two or three floors just a dash for the last floor so I can at least warp up to there without a problem. Mind you, I was already Level 25 but (whistle)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3C0JDkywM_M I love the use of Persona 3 music in the anime for 4. Made the scenes better.
This isn't surprising, but apparently the reveal of Persona 5 was delayed because of the Index's bankruptcy.
The highlight of Persona 4: Your classmate is stuck in a hostile world with the personification of her worst feelings that will torment her until it can kill the next time it rains. Fuck it. She can chill there while I go play with the gym club. She'll be fiiiiiiiiine.....
Though funnily enough, actually building up relationships with people outside of the dungeon-crawling (well, along with making sure you're not underlevelled) is pretty much vital to actually saving people. Though that point is not nearly as funny. :v: God damn I need to get a Vita at some point, but I can't stop spending my damn money on PC games.
I'll be very surprised if someone doesn't register persona6.jp within the next few days, just to sit on it. This won't hit 3DS. Might well end up on Vita, though.
Popular thought is Vita or PS3. Persona 4 has been a smash for the Vita. Someone remind me, can P3FES be played on Vita? If so, then the system could very well sell as being a glorified SMT:Persona portable device.
