    [topic] Is it possible? If so, how is it done? I've tried just taking the object itself across, but that doesn't work.

    You'll need to fix all RAM values in the object, and there might be some changes to the SST format I don't know about.

    Oh yes, and jumps to routines outside the main object code? You'll need to fix those somehow, either by grabbing the routine and slapping at underneath the object code or by finding an equivalent routine in Sonic 1.
