I recall the game slowing down to like 1 FPS for me when using the trick ribbon. I don't suppose anyone fixed that?
I believe the original release of CD is the same way. You have to wait on the title screen to see the FMV. Could be an Ćshima as director thing or just a holdover from arcade attract screens being the main provider of story beats.
This happens on my weak laptop that otherwise runs the game fine, so I guess not. I'm glad these Sega Heritage games are getting a bit of polish, finally. SA2 obviously gets more attention, but they all needed work.
Same. My toaster PC plays the rest of the game perfectly fine but it slows down to like five fps when the ribbon appears.
