In other words: already redone his shoes. Not his riders shoes either.

So no one needs to start critique on Sonic just yet. I have yet to make a new render of the latest version of his model.

The Eggman model is good, but the legs seem oddly placed, bent outwards at an odd angle...

That all looks pretty good. I'm glad you changed Sonic's shoes. I do have one small problem with eggman though. It looks like he's trying too hard to keep his shoulders up high. Maybe they should be a little bit more relaxed.

I still think the whole design concept looks really awkward for someone like Eggman. That's one of the reasons I don't like his recent redesign, because it kinda conflicts with his personality as well - a fat, arrogant, yet brilliant bastard.

I dunno, that's just my opinion. Maybe you should do what Sega keeps saying they're gonna do and take Sonic back to his roots, though. You know, where everybody was just a tad bit chubbier (though Robotnik much more so).

I agree with the other guy, his shoulders seem way to high, and he has man boobies :P. Otherwise the textures and whatnot are awesome.

The latest version of him uses a special cloth bump map I created for his jacket, and his shoulders have been tweaked. More on that later when his model is completed.

Uhh, Sonic...

If you look closely, you'll see his hands, and his shoes reflecting each other. It's due to the shape of the shoes, and where the camera is.
