Details of it can be read here: Xkeeper/forumuser This should replace the {{Userbob}} template, so if you happen to see a page using it, feel free to update it to use Forumuser. Much thanks to Tweaker on assistance with the way it should look.
Awesome work, but it doesn't stretch to accommodate long e-mail addresses, leading to box break-outs (see Hez)
Well, it is called "Breakout box" for a reason ... But in all seriousness I'll probably try to fix it soon by removing the width or just plain forcing it
Apologies to those in IRC; I probably should've, you know, turned it off while this was going on (or just made it ignore anything with a reason of +forumuser). But at least almost no pages are left using that old template (and the one that was without reason was fixed to not do so), so that's good, right? ... By the way, if you have any questions on styling it let me know. That way I can go ahead and possibly create a custom setup or two in addition to the two that already exist.
There's a typo, Site Staff reads as "Site Staf". And yeah, that was a lot of work being done to "de-userbob" articles. Thanks for the feature though.
Dude, some members chose to keep their email private, including myself. Please be fixing that. As a temporary fix, I changed it to [email protected], I know that a fake email address is against the forum rules, and I'm going to accept the consequent 3 days suspension. I will restore my real email address as soon as you fix this privacy leak. That, and the Skype contact isn't shown. edit: also, this renders all of the avatars in the Category:Avatars useless, thus to be deleted.
If they aren't board members they're valid. Also, seconding the email hiding, simply on spam grounds.
I knew I was forgetting something; I'll have to dig though the database to see what controlls the visiblity of e-mail addresses. I didn't know there was an actual useful one that didn't end in S. Oops. So, uh, fixing that too. (Though uh, that's a lot of fuss over an accidental showing of e-mail, when it would've been better to contact me quietly instead of saying "HEY GUYS LOOK AT ME I HAVE MY EMAIL ADDRESS IN MY WIKI PAGE". Yeah.) Also email addresses change to "xxxxx at xxxxxx dot xxxxxx" now, which is enough to protect against the most retarded bots in existance.
