The game came out not 3 days ago and we already have game-specific hacking tools? Who's programming this? Sonic himself?

The tools were programed 3 hours after the ISO leak.

The game uses a very common music format, that has tools already made for it.

But you'd also have to synchronize the enemies properly, so they don't start breakdancing madly. =P

    Working on my art!
If the Wii had DLC I think a Super Mario Bros 1 remake would be a great addition to the game. Maybe someone can make that happen as with that video?

I'd prefer a Super Mario Bros ThWii, actually, though Super Mario Bros 1 Wii would be good too.

This is really awesome. The SMB1-3 communities have always had some really interesting hacks, hopefully that creativity can carry over to NSMBW. Every day I get more reason to mod my Wii. =P

About fucking time. I am rather happy now, as this means I'm going to have endless hours of fun with NSMBWii, I thought the fun was about to end (played through once with the missus, now we're playing through again collecting all star coins)

Its only a matter of time before we get Sonic Unleashed level editors.

This probably uses the same or a very similar format to the DS game.

My thought was they just used an upgraded DS engine for the wii port.

Well this is good news for level editors the wii is like the most hax'd console of this generation. thats what you get when you put SD card slots into any console!

Well, this looks fun. I may give it a spin when the time comes for this to get released.

A Sonic Unleashed level editor would be an order of magnitude more complex. No one has even been able to crack the compression format yet.

I really want to try that. Some time next year, we'll have DS levels in this and Wii levels in that.
These were my thoughts too, considering the speed of making the editor.

  20. Yeah, maybe the SD slot on the DSI and the Wii could allow levels to be used for either NSMB game.

    Would be awesome!
