Is it possible that the password is more than 7 characters, or maybe it has some special character like a space or period or something? No way I am able to find the password with my computer.
So yeah... I want to help. I know I'm kind of late to the party, but why the hell not? I'll start ASAP.
There's always a possibility of that... We could start putting our efforts there, but I just find it funny that our false positive is a 7 character numeral+small+caps yet my searches with those settings brought up nothing...
So the program I was using found 3 possible passwords but, I couldn't view them because it was a demo version. >.> So what program do you guys recommend using?
What a fucking tease! It's like saying "Here, look! Our program really works! Oh, but we won't show you the results which would prove the fact that it does work. Give us your fucking money blindly!"
I'm guessing the program you used is bogus and hasn't really found any passwords, but just in case: what settings were you using (charset, password length, dictionary, ...)? I have been using Advanced Archive Password Recovery. And yeah, we should probably come up with a way to divide this task and figure out the password faster that way.
