Here are some in-progress screenshots of my Sonic the Hedgehog 2 hack, currently unnamed (though the file is called "Sonic 2 Negative", I've decided I don't like that name )

The screens show Hill Top Zone and Aquatic Ruin Zone on the first row, and Sky Chase Zone and Metropolis Zone (Act 3) are on the second row. Clearly the Zone names need to be changed, but they haven't yet...

Wow not bad for a trial member :( I like the way you're actually editing art instead of just palettes :D but where have the badniks gone? :o

I have no clue why Tails is wandering into the sky there... I've gone up and down that slope many times in MZ, and there are no problems with Sonic... Maybe I should just get rid of Tails...

Your Mushroom Hill zone level looks beautiful =)

He already said it wasn't his collision. Tails had weird bugs like that in multiple games...

Yeah are there actually any slopes as steep as that in Sonic 2? Maybe tails just can't cope with them.

I think Metropolis Zone had slopes as steep as that. They might have even been steeper.

Thank you! The Mushroom Hill level actually uses a modified version of the Wood Zone pallete.

I've been having some odd problems, though. I've written a new collision index for a level, and certain platforms clearly marked as "FF" in the index, solid, while in game when I jump on them I go right through them. Is this some sort of special CNZ effect?

Have you set the 128x128 collision as well as the 16x16 collision?

The problem is, when I'm under the blocks, they are solid, just not when I'm on top of them...

I don't have the ROM on this computer (unfortunately I can't always use my "good" computer), so I can't check the 128 collision.
