Music that reminds you of sonic

1320 - Megadeth

The speed just fits perfectly with basically any daytime level from Sonic Unleashed, especially the solo at the end.

 

To me personally...this seems like a S&SASR song...describing cars and all...

The lyrics don't really fit, but the music itself does.

The name's what reminds me of sonic, 'cause I'm pretty sure Sonic thinks something along the title of the song when ever he's stationary

Otherwise... Hm... Country doesn't really fit sonic... Or any game, for that matter XD

 

The Loneliness of the Long Distance Runner - Iron Maiden

Simply epic.

 

I'm getting a much more of a Megaman X vibe from that track.

Keith Urban's "I told you so" and "Better Life"has always in a roundabout was reminded me of Sonic - I know that someday, someone's going to make a shitty Sonc X AMV set to one of them, and I'm going to somehow come upon it, and it's going to suck.

 

Lots and lots of smooth jazz from the 90s.

 

... I just realized something... Tailor Swift's "You belong with me" kinda fits Amy...

Why, oh why does a song that annoys the hell out of me have to fit a character that I actually like?!

Oh, and I think Toby Keith's "High Maintenance Woman" could fit the Knuckles/Rouge pairing, but I don't remember... I'd have to listen to the song again.

 

"You belong with me" doesn't really fit Amy because Sonic isn't after someone else.

 

Eh... There's some fans out there that would probably disagree, but what ever. I'll go with the song not fitting her 'cause the song sucks imo...

Unfortunately, fans of the American-made television shows and comic books would like to have a word with you. However I don't give a crap.

My only word on the matter is: curse you hacks! Now when I think of certain songs I think of the hacks they're in!

 

The first few minutes of "Chameleon" by Herbie Hancock would fit really well in Sonic CD, or a special stage.

 

Yeah, seconded. In my opinion, I always thought Lady Gaga's "Paparazzi" seemed more fitting for Amy.

@ Jace (below): To me, Sphinx sounds like it could have been music for a desert level in the Sonic Rivals series.

 

Sphinx the EX stage from Ragnarok Battle offline reminds me of the cliche pyramid levels from the sonic games and Euphoria from Rave Racer ('95) always seems like something out of the newer games.

I've always wondered what would happen if SEGa took up some of the SamplingMasters to do music for a sonic game.

This music always makes me imagine Sonic running through a Japanese building (Sry don't remember what they are called) dodging traps baddies, and other craziness.

Somethin' crazy .. Michael McDonald - Sweet Freedom.. I heard it on the radio just now and it reminded me of Star Light Zone. If you took out the vocals and put it in as the BG music that would be neat.
