Music Remastered

That sounds absolutely wonderful. Although I'm not sure if the addition of the guitar part really fits the overall feeling of the original song.

It was very much just a remake of the original I did back around like 2002 or whenever I did it. Anyways, if you want my opinion, it'd be best to loop from 1:26.

I mean, jeez, dude, no need to be so full of yourself. I was just offering critique. I appreciate that you're sharing and all, but I do think some improvements can be made. If you're busy and can't improve, then whatever, fine; I'd still like to explore other possibilities for song choice, though.

 

Full of myself? lol, I'd ask you to point to an example, but I have a feeling that it's merely a misunderstanding on your behalf. As for critique, you're welcome to critique it all you want. I simply explained why it sounded the way it did. I don't really have time to go back and make changes, so I'm glad you're so understanding of that.

If you'd rather not use the song, that's fine too. My heart isn't going to be broken or anything. Infact, if you can do one that's more to everyone's liking, go for it.

 

I think it doesn't fit at all... but the rest sounds quite good.

 

Sky Chase (clean)

Well, I managed to get this mixed down before 8 CST, unfortunately that's about as much work as I want to do on this track. If you guys would rather use this, let me know via e-mail and I'll send over the source .wav

 

It definitely sounds better with the clean guitar, yeah.

 

Heh, don't mind tweaker, he's a bit of a perfectionist and pretty demanding - a lot like Miyamoto in many ways. He didn't really mean to be insulting, it's just his blunt style.

 

Not to say the new one is bad Kaijin, I honestly like the old Sky Chase with the soft trumpet. In my opinion, it was the trumpet that made the song.

 

I agree with the old one being superior in my view. But, I'm just one person.

 

It wasn't a soft trumpet, but actually just a different tenor sax patch. If you want to use to use the old one, you're welcome to. I just wouldn't recommend it due to the nature of the project, being high definition and all, and since I no longer have the source files, you'd be stuck with the excess reverb and unmastered recording from 2001. I'm sorry that I can't clean that one up for you.

I feel that this format better shows what we've got and what we're missing.

 

I love both Emerald Hill Zone tracks a whole lot. I don't know which one I like more, but Bibin's just all sound way too low, but I think Tweaker's sounds the best, but I'm almost leading towards Cinossu's. They're both amazing!

 

Cinossu already said not to use his, so I have no idea why that's on the list.
