  1. I wasn't aware of the fact that Sega had an extended version of Lava Reef Zone 1. Was it in one of the betas or something? I haven't been following very closely with stuff like this.
Could you give me a link to it or something?

  2. Perhaps the S&K Soundtrack album (the really synthy one)? Much of the stuff on there is expanded and has some new elements.

I'm guessing this is the CD we're talking about. I like the Lava Reef extension. The instruments sound similar to their original counterparts. I also like the "Theme of S&K", "Rings and Diamonds Land", and "Theme of Knuckles". The "S&K Remix" is too long for my liking, though.

EDIT: Whoops (reply to below). Try the link again. The link I was trying to connect to was the 6th album on the first row.

Is that link supposed to not work, or am I just failing at internets?

The problem is that Sonic Strike is gay when it comes to hotlinking

    Here we go

Hopefully finished the Casino Night Zone 2p. I changed some instruments to be less prominent, as well as fixed the errors of the guy who arranged the original midI.

Now this version should be entirely accurate (except for the drum beat at the very end... couldn't seem to get the rhythm of it to side right some how). Fruity loops seems to lad oddly when you record through it.

This loops once but doesn't fade out.

Edit: well the loop fucked up... meh. I'll fix it later.

    Fixed! Are there any errors?

  8. I like this, but it could do with less reverb (in my opinion).

    Bit-Blade:
I listened to your updated version, and I would like to make some further suggestions.

I think it sounded better without the reverb, like in the version I commented on before. I'd suggest using the reverb settings that you used in the older version.

Also, I think the piano was actually a better choice of instrument for the background chords sound thing which you seem to have replaced with a church organ or something.

Just to let you know. Ah, oh boy! Oh, man! PENIS TENNIS! PENIS DENIS! PENIS MENIS FENIS BENIS GENIS DENIS DENNACE.

Please don't use that midi and repeat the mistakes its creator/arranger made (yes I am that anal sometimes). He got an entire section of the supporting melody flat out wrong, and it took me a while to catch on (until I put on headphones). Hell, to be honest there are a few subtle parts in the original genesis version I haven't put in, though they were fairly negligible.

Edit: and with that said, here's a more accurate midi (though I can't promise it will sound better. Leave that to the mp3)

Hahahaha... wow, it's a good thing I couldn't hear that. apparently fruity loops sucks at different instruments being used for midi and makes them all the same. Retarded of it but I guess that can't be helped. Well, anyway if you can figure out what goes where you should be fine.

    Accurate midi, Casino Night 2p

Further edit: Hopefully this is the last one I need to do (though I might try to complete that continuation for my own shits and giggles).

    Updated mp3

Awesome job on that one ;) Theres so many great tracks here man..

Whatsup everyone, this is first post here...thanks for having me!

    m_virtua - chemplant zone

^I did Chemical Plant Zone. Its probably my favorite track from the game.

It's more of a electronic mix of it. Please dissect it if you will...critique is good for the heart.

I plan on doing Oil Ocean next.

    ... Or not.

Sorry but I think this one wouldn't fit at all...

  15. I think we should write our own remasters/arrangements for this game rather than use others'. We have more than enough talent for it.

Sure thing, just thought it sounded nice and could imaging it working.

    Hi everybody! :)

I'm new here and I want to collaborate with this great project. I don't know if I'm doing right, but I want to leave my version of Casino Night's BGM.
I hope you like it. I'll be waiting for suggestions, critics, insults or others.

    See you later.

Everything in the background sounds good enough, but the main sample doesn't fit in, or something.

    7/10 would hear it again

I like it a lot. It's kinda like a remix of both the final and beta versions of Casino Night.
I think the main melody could be a bit louder - that's my only critique.
Apart from that, it's a great song. I like the drum samples, and some of the instruments.

    8/10 for me

    Thanks for your comments.
I've been working on the version 2 of this song based on your comments. I've fixed the main sample, also some silences generated by an error in the hi-hats and adjusted some volume levels.
Now, I leave to you the download and the freedom to express your suggestions about it. :)

I'll be pending on your opinions.

    See you later!
