Music Remastered

I know it would be a huge job for just one person, and believe me I'm liking all the different styles I'm hearing in this thread, I just think it would be a good idea later on when music becomes more of a priority to have one guy in contact will all and access to the mixes just to make sure the style fits in each one and mainly so they don't sound amazingly different which would break the flow, which is what I'm worried about. Most of what I've heard, I've liked, but some of it is very different, some very basic whilst others are very out there. Personally out of all the versions I've heard, Blaze's, Hunter Bridges' and Tweaker's usually come out best and all of their styles is very fitting and if they worked together to improve on what they've already got and mix their styles, the soundtrack would come off pretty damn good, but that's just my opinion, and no offence to any others who have posted music as I've liked pretty much all music posted in this thread so you're doing a great job.

Just wanted to offer my two cents on the Chemical Plant Zone submissions.

I think that Blaze's version is absolutely perfect. It captures the feel of the original perfectly, and well, just sounds plain awesome. I even put it on my iPod and listened to it a LOT when I was on vacation last week, hehe. Great song to cruise down the highway at night to.

So, no offence to anyone else's submissions, but Blaze's just totally nailed it.

 

Yeah, I'm inclined to agree that Blaze's version of CPZ is hot. I will say that perhaps a few more bass riffs are needed in the section before the loop point since it feels like it's missing a little kick. Listen to the original version and compare the two and you'll know what I mean. Otherwise, the song's about perfect. Great job!

 

Well, some mystic cave instruments are great, but not all of them.
I'm sure you can do better.

 

I really like shy chase and Mystic cave, not sure about stage clear at the minute. too much extra fluff in there. Im liking casino night so far but I think the main piano-like melody is too loud compared to the original. Seems like it overwelms the backing track.

 

Well, Thinking about the ending music...we should use the real song from Dreams Comes True... I mean, with the lyrics and all... if we use that song it'll be awesome, but we'll need to get permission.... (Sry if anyone say that in the ... 25 pages back)

Just wondering, can people also use the Beat for influences? If so then could someone attempt the Casino Night Zone music from the BEta as it had a much better bass feeling and a bass intro which was awesome.

This version of Metropolis isn't perfect either, but it's quite good, I think.

Looking through newgrounds and other sites, if yu guys ever wanted to a Hard Rock/Meatl soundtrack, you've got plenty of choice, maybe after this is finished you can do an add on for it making everything more Heavy Metal like, give Sonic a leather jacket, a nose ring, gives Tails some Aviators, Robotnik in bondage gear, haha.
