Music Remastered

I know adding new stuff is the cool thing to do and all, but I'd much rather have the original compositions left alone when not in "remix" mode.

I don't mean you guys can't come up with some nice stuff based on the original songs, but let's not pretend we're all professional composers that can equal Masato Nakamura's stuff.

 

No, I think he was saying that Blast Processing made the song, not Test-Object.

So you're saying that RansomRath should redo his song to fit your standards? I mean, the song sounds great and all, but we can't let one artist make such a change while stripping that freedom from everyone else right? That wouldn't be fair at all.

I think that rendition of Chemical Plant Zone is interesting, but way too dirty sounding.

Btw loving that Chemical Plant Zone remaster but yeh it does sound a tad too dirty for my tastes though.

 

There's nothing particularly noteworthy about this rendition. It sounds like bland, generic MIDI to me.

But if it makes you feel any better, you're a good person and everyone loves you.

 

Less synthesizer, more pan flute and jungle drums. After that, spice it up a bit by inserting a couple fun interpretations.

I can't argue with what's already been said about your take on ARZ. We've already had some really outstanding submissions for that one, so I would suggest looking at Sky Chase Zone or even the Staff Credits theme. There has yet to be one from SCZ to wow everyone that listens to it, and there's been no attempts made on the Staff Credits so far.

 

What? The Chemical Plant Zone one? That can hardly be counted as a remix.

 

The tech demo has music as .ogg files in a folder. If the final version follows the same concept, we'll be able to easily replace the tracks with the original ones or Hedgehog Heaven or whatever.

 

...Where did I mention Chemical Plant in there? I was replying to statements like:

Very well done, I wouldn't mind seeing more of the jingles done in a similar style. So far only a couple of the submissions Blue Streak has done have been at that level.
