More info on Sonic and the Secret Rings

This kinda sounds and looks like Sonic in the 15th century. From the glimpses I've seen of it anyway.

Trust me, Sonic does not belong in the 15th century. I made a level in Sonic 2 once like that. It sucked.

He does NOT belong in the 15th century.

 

Knuckles was always dumb. It's part of his character.

 

Well he sure seemed smart enough to catch up to Sonic and mock him everytime he stopped him.

 

Except that for one thing, he shouldn't have been giving Sonic a hard time in the first place, and he only was because he believes the first person who tells him something and everyone else is evil, and for another, he apparently couldn't see any of the several giant paintings that quite clearly depict a man stealing the Master Emerald who looks more than coincidentally similar to the man he just put the entirety of his trust in.

Acctually, I believe it is more like Knuckles is guliable, not necesarily stupid. He knows how to get in Sonic's way, but he was gulible because he let Eggman trick him some how (which is why Knuckles was ok in Sonic adventure because it was showing that he was tricked).

In the new games however, Knuckles is portrayed as an idiot tough guy. "I can break stuff with my first but I sure as fuck don't know where I am". Ya, that's smart. Also what happened to Knuckles watching over that Master Emerald and Angel Island? It's stupid for Knuckles to keep appearing in new games because Knuckles is forgetting his post, making it so that Eggman could easily steal the Emerald while Knuckles is just running around being Sonic's bitch somewhere.

 

Sonic and the secret rings sounds too Harry potterish.

Well "Sonic's secret Wii" Doesn't sound too good either.

 

I'm kind of suprised this kind of discussion about this game is going on.

Considering it'll be 99% likely that the unanimous vote upon release of this game will be 'it sucks'.

 

Considering how cynical many of you seem to be towards the newer games, I would have to agree.
Meanwhile, I'm probably the only person in the world who still thinks Sonic is as cool as ever...

Bad ending: don't collect all the emeralds.

Good ending: collect all the emeralds and turn into Super Sonic Knuckles and Tails to take down Eggman's latest monster-gone-wrong.

Oh yeah, there are some games I played where there were levels like Sonic was in some weird place out of the past.
Trust me, Marble Zone, Aquatic Ruin Zone, Marble Garden Zone, Sandopolis Zone, Hidden Palace Zone, Windy Valley, Lost World, Pyramid Cave, Chao Ruins, and Mirage Road all sucked total ass.

Sonic only belongs in futuristic technobases which have few walls and even fewer floors. Yessir, that's the only way to go.

 

If they don't try and squeeze in Chaos Emeralds in this game, I'll be surprised. Still, good point on the Rings things. And, even though you collected the 7 Serious Emeralds and entered your Super Sarcastic mode:
