0, 2, 3, f and e.

 

I'm liking 0, 2, 6, D, and F... gives a nice bit of variety. Had you said 6, I'd add A so there'd be even more of a middle size.

However, I'm glad people are finally going all-original for new graphics in their hacks. (don't get me wrong, people adding HPZ and 'TDZ' ['The Desert Zone'] based on the Retro Sonic DHZ graphics is fine, but it can only be done so many times...)

 

I personally like 0, 1, 2, 4, and 5.

 

Beh, looks like I'll have to get back to work on Scrap Yard, then. =P

This is the beginning of the level I'm working on the black area is the bottom of the game level itself. Take a good look at the piece I did the same way Craig and Brenda would have done it Pixel by Pixel. (Now I know how they felt.)







Edit: Also there's no name yet I just call it RL00 until I finish it.

Change the white pallet to black, it might look better?

 

I'm not sure If I'm the only one whos noticed, But isn't that a spruced up Sonic Chaos Tree?

Read the whole topic before making comments like that, especially while in the trial member stage. Rika said the level was a tribute to that Sonic Chaos level. If you look again, you'll see that the flowers are also from Sonic Chaos.

Someone ought to make a hack based on a sonic GG game, Like these mockups I made for sonic 2 GG:





Compare the Originals to the new ones. Oh, And just for the heads up, These aren't for the competition, Though anyone here can base off them if they want.
(note: Thet aren't perfectly proportionate, So don't tell me that).

 

Someone did with the last pic. I can't remember who it was, but they made a hack called the Hybridization Project, and ARZ was redrawn to have a lot of elements from the third row of pics in there.

 

It was Dr Eggfan who made the Hybridization project. I think his main concern now is S2: Aluminium Edition, which also seems to be coming along nicely.

 

Since the Comp is still open, I'm giving this little piece of art. It's Based on GHZ and Palmtree Panic Zone. Please feel free to give creative critisism, But not pointless flaming.

 

Hey, that's rather nice! He's already got a GHZ-esque zone in there, but he might have use for that. Or you can always try to make your own level too. Nice job!

 

It's not bad, Game Nerd advance, but it could use just a little more detail. If you want my suggestion, change the "mountains" in the background. Looks too choppy to be considered "mountains".

 

I agree—the mountains could use work. But the foreground is very nice, combining GHZ's squares theme with PPZ's triangles theme.

 

It looks quite nice for an 8 bit level, but you might want to add more details like shadows, irregularities, etc.
