    Welp, this.
I'll be closing this project next week unless you guys can show me some serious activity. This thing has been dead in the water for a while.

I'd say Gen'd be the one to bring this up to. Discussion on making a "demo game" kinda fell dead in the water because no one knows what's really going with the engine itself. Noone knows what to really target. I mean, it's all well and good to throw a scene together with all kinds of bells and whistles, but if the Mobius Engine isn't going to support them for a long time, what's the point?

Once the non-coders know what tools they can play with, there'll be more activity. I'd check the bitbucket, but I don't have access to it. I'm not sure if anyone other than Gen had access to it, actually. But the project being closed here isn't the end of the world, so if that's what ends up happening, so be it.

I think this is a great project, but it seems to have stymied for reasons that don't seem valid or serious. We have the enthusiasm, skills, networking and abilities to make at the very least a good 3d game engine, the problem seems to be how we went about this.

Ultimately, we chose Gen to lead this project, and Gen's posting activity dropped. Everyone was waiting on Gen, and when he didn't move, no one was sure what to do. Art was waiting on the programmers, the programmers were waiting on the art, and no one was taking initiative for fear a decision would render their work void.

We need to get this project going again, there's absolutely no reason to leave it to languish, and every reason to push forward with it.

In order to do this, I propose we choose a new team leader.

Now I have nothing against Gen, but he just wasn't active enough to keep the project going. We could also push forward with as a "leaderless" project, but I'm just not sure how well that would work.

In terms of who to select as team leader, simply put, everyone who wants to be a team leader step forward and we'll vote just like we did with Gen.

In such a case, I propose myself to be the team leader.

If voted in, I promise to post everyday (save maybe Sundays), establish clear milestones, work to ensure we've got an good system for managing the project that suits everyone, and help encourage everyone in getting this project made. Completing this project is a long term goal no doubt, but I promise to stick with this project until we've got a clear foundation for the game which we can work off of (3d game, with a start, middle and end).

I know a lot of you mightn't know me, or trust me, but I see this project as having a lot of promise. If we pull together on this, that promise can be realised.

Those are my thoughts on the matter.
