I'd just like to commend drx (as well as anyone who may have aided him) for all his hard work in obtaining these betas. I mean, from what I've seen, you've tracked down loads of people, patiently contacted said folks, got more information and/or hit a brick wall with them, wash/rinse/repeat, among other things... The amount of effort you've put into investigating this is awesome, and I just wanted to thank you for that. ... I also wanted to thank you for giving me a reason not to rush through Apollo Justice on my DS when it comes out (Sonic 2 "Beta 3" and Sonic 3 beta on jEnesisDS 0.6 with sound? Ooooh yeah!).

I bet it's likely that Knuckles was playable in the early version of Sonic 3...and whether MJ's music is in the S3beta...But I'm REALLY looking foward to seeing the progress that was made on Hidden Palace! :D I MUST see more pics of Chaotix though...

Yeah, major events like this always tends to bring people out of the woodwork. I really wish you'd release more details, though...I don't think I can physically handle waiting until the 23rd. I'll likely have exploded from anticipation build-up by then. (plus I'll likely be at work and/or entertaining my roommate's mother all day...!@#$%)
In the beta? I dunno, I don't think it matches as well, though being a bit less monochromatic is definitely a good thing overall. Also, shit! I forgot that a Sonic 3 beta might have different music!

Yet another Sonic 2 prototype? Oh god. S3K and especially Chaotix will be interesting though. Great job! (Where do you always find those things?) Though to be honest I'm still hoping for that guy to sell his Sonic 1 proto. Or a Sonic CD one popping up out of nowhere.
It's not all that strange to see lava reef in sonic 3, after all we had proof it was there at some point. And I'm sure that's not the only S&K level being there in that build(s?)...
Agreed re: The S1 Proto PS theres 2 early SCD Protos in the wild - I believe DRX even has one mirrored on his site in a full BIN/ CUE form...
