Importing art to SonED2

    Well, at the end I started to try SonED2, and as you know I'm hacking Sonic 1. First off I wanted to insert all tiles from Underground Zone in S2SMS to the project, so I took a tile screenshot in Emukon. This picture has been modified in Graphics Gale to make it fit to the MegaDrive pallets (as explained here) and we get this tile sheet:

    The deal is, I converted this PNG image to PCX using Adobe Photoshop 8, tried to import it to my project and it looks messed up.

    Someone to explain me this please, because I don't understand it.

    Here is an idea. Don't be lazy, just draw the art yorself.

    It looks off because the pallet in the PCX did not use only the first 16 colors for the picture.

    Yeah you'll have to create a palette in photoshop, and apply the same palette to all the images, so it doesn't just reduce the colours efficiantly.

    I finally could import the tiles, I'll make a tutorial out of my method. Just wait. :rolleyes:
