I hate to break it to you folks, but the probability of finding a Sonic 1 prototype is MUCH lower than finding another Sonic 2 or higher prototype. *The reasoning* Back in 1990, the Genesis wasn't holding up and Sega knew it. So, they made a mascot, in uber-secrecy, so Nintendo didn't suspect much. Sonic did better than Mario in tests, and Sega knew what they had, but they didn't want to blow the secret. So, when Sega did release info on Sonic, it was about two or three months before the release of Sonic 1, which... to be honest, they're not scrapping any hugely important levels, not now least. So finding a protoype like Sonic CD 712 or whatever is remotely likely but finding a prototype like Sonic 2 beta is very, very, VERY, VERY unlikely. What do you have to say? I'd like to know what you think of this. I know it's a little depressing, but we have to face the facts.
