Last summer, Stealth and Poe from Headcannon joined Saxman, SSNTails, Striker and myself to attend Retro World Expo 2024 in Hartford, CT. The Headcannon crew had a booth promoting some of their new games, while Stealth held a panel entitled, "Headcanon to Headcannon: Game Dev for Fun and Profit." Their appearance was a great a opportunity for those on the east coast to meet the Headcannon devs. This year, Headcannon will be a guest at the Southern California Expo (SoCal) in Pasadena, CA on June 6-8, 2025. Plans are to exhibit some of the games they are working on, along Stealth reholding his panel from RWX. So for those of you on the WEST coast that requested that he appear at an expo closer to you, here is your chance to meet the Headcannon crew. For those that don't know, Stealth co-founded the SSRG with me back in 1996, and has been a prominent figure in the scene ever since. He is most known for being a lead dev for Sonic Mania and Sonic Origins. Poe is a developer with Headcannon and worked with Stealth on Sonic Origins. He now works on other Headcannon projects with Stealth. https://socalretrogamingexpo.com/ Video editing note: My video of the RWX version of the panel will be coming out over the summer when I have time, which will be well after SoCal '25.
Just a quick FYI, that post is basically unreadable on the dark theme. Normally if you use the dark theme it sets the text to white, but that appears to have been set manually to black so I had to highlight the entire post to read it.
Thanks for the fix, guys. Apparently my cut-and-paste operation copied over more than just plain text and an embedded graphic without me realizing it.
Awesome! I won't be able to attend, but if you go I hope you enjoy the expo. SoCal is now the west-coast sister expo to RWX. From what I am seeing for 2025, it's like RWX but with a larger list of guest. (Being near LA, I'm sure it was easier to get them to come.) Oddly enough, they don't appear to have live wrestling. Not sure if is just a north east thing, but I've notice "live wrestling" has become rather popular at the big gaming expos in CT.
