Has anyone dumped the 8x8 terrain tile graphics for the Genesis games?

Heyo all, I have been searching online for a graphics rip of the 8x8 graphics cells used for the tiles in the Genesis Sonic games, and surprisingly have not been able to find any. So I am just wondering, does anybody here know where one might be? Or if such rips have been made at all?

There's rips of the tiles the game uses, but they're in 16x16 form and not their raw 8x8 chunks. These can bd found in the Maps section of the wiki.

My grossly inefficient method for viewing 8x8 tiles is to use the VDP debugger in older versions(?) of Gens
    • numpad + - to scroll up and down the list, * to go down the palette list, / to make a greyscale palette

That does feel incredibly primitive, however.
If there's a MD/MCD/32X emulator out there somewhere that has a VDP inspecting system that's as nice to use as the one in BSNES, I'd love to know about it myself.

BlastEm allows you to press keys while playing to bring up the VRAM and CRAM spaces. But I don't know how to actually bring them up reliably.

Exodus also has a VRAM viewer option, as well as the ability to dump the contents of VRAM to a file.
