Hackers block

I have to say that's far to be my case.
Very motivated and with a lot of ideas.
One advice: take a small break and play your favourite Sonic games as you never played them before. I'm sure ideas and motivation will be back soon.

I've never had any good ideas for a hack, nor am I any good at it, nor can I actually do much. I'm paranoid that people are beginning to think I'm all bullshit and no knowlage for these things.

So yeah, me too.

 

Have you tried making any reverse levels? yanno, ones where you start on the left and go to the right? Made any custom object art? and yeah, learning to program the games will practically open dev wider than goatse.

 

Right to left could be cool, sort of a challenge.. it'd remind me of reading authentic anime, haha. Yeah, learn ASM, you can get lots of neat new gizmos to put in your levels.

 

I dibs that. Unless a tech member would beat the shit out of me until I let him or her use that idea.

nah, I don't hack old games that much, I don't mind :P

 

hmm why don't you try making 2D level art of a sonic adventure 1/2 level and put it into your hack that would be cool to see :D oh and I think your a great hacker

 

I'm trying that idea right now. How far I'll get on that is uncertain, but oh well.

Rika, take some time off, get some creative ideas flowing in your head, and then retackle your project. After all, the best hacks take time and effort, and your hack shows that!

I have a lack of being arsed. Which leads me to the ever increasing paranoia that you'll all be like "I haven't seen you hack, you can't hack, onos teh ban you faker," or something similar.
