    .hack//sonic version 3

    Ring are no longer effective.
    Music changed for the levels.
Expect .hack//sonic to get harder then Sonic Omega.

    It's like it's Fiz's hack. Only with Sonic 2!
It's okay, but you need to implement the rings back in Zero.

Why did you hack out the rings?

Haha! Yes! Now you just need to learn how to make them red, bounce, and make them have kill properties! Except I don't think it would work in Sonic 2, as the Rings are programmed differently than in Sonic 1, because of the whole "Perfect Bonus" thing. ;)

    Anyways, good work! *clap*

then why not port your red rings over to Sonic 2 by appending to the end of the file (as usual), and then change the pointer that points to the ring object?

Eh, I meant just making the red rings in Sonic 2 by "scratch", like what I did in my S1 Red Ring hack. Putting the red rings in Sonic 2 was my original idea, but I remember that it probably wouldn't work because of the Perfect Bonus thing.

I don't know how porting them would work. I might try it later.

You definitely need to put the rings back in. Once out of Emerald Hill, I find it to be overly complicated.

However, if you wish to leave the rings out, I found that Super Ring monitors still allow you to pick up 10 rings.

If you want the monitors gone,
Go to any of these 2, (depending on the effect you want) offsets and type "4E75"

$12670 Removes the monitors permantly. No monitors appear.

$12854 (The monitors are still there. but when you open them, you get nothing)

I am not going to remove the monitors. I am going to use the shield monitors as the only way to stay alive.
