    Who's next!? Oldbie
I've came across a build of Gens that allows movie recording, AVIs to be exact.

The author of this Gens mod is a French Canadian that goes by the name, Jyzero.

    Anyway, here's a link to the his Gens mod - <a href="http://step.polymtl.ca/~jyzero/gens_movie_9f.zip" target="_blank">http://step.polymtl.ca/~jyzero/gens_movie_9f.zip</a>

Read the inclosed documentation for what's been added and/or fixed in this release.

And I should stress that this build should be used at your OWN risk.

What kind of risks are there in recording with it?

The same kind of risks that there are when running almost any program that says that; little to none, and maybe the occasional crash.

It's just been going slow on me, but it'll help like hell. So dealing with it.

Unless something's changed, last time I checked Gens Movie Test only supports AVI recording when playing back a controller input log, so you'd need to record yourself doing whatever you want your video to do, then generate the AVI from that. If anyone's looking to put video from this emulator on a DVD, I've developed a short guide explaining how to do this using AviSynth. You can find it here, on SHIT.

I love the avi support. It makes great use. Though I had a hard time finding it the first time. Now if only emulator's like Mame32 can support the avi recording as well. ;)

"Emulators" is a simple plural, and needs no apostrophe. Punctuon and Grammarax, the Spelling Gundams, disapprove.
