You probably already have a thousand people applying for the job, but I can test to see if it runs under WINE and I also have a Windows 7 machine so I can test both Windows 7 compatibility and WINE compatibility.
It's windows only at the moment. Ill release a Mac/Linux port after the final release. I have a prototype Mac version but its a very old built. also, For those who are beta testing and already noticed the corrupt options menu =D
Kudos on fixing the Options screen. ^^ I was going to post that the options screen was buggy as hell, but my computer shut itself off... >.<

Back on the subject of the ice level, I love #2's layout, so I'm glad you kept that, Hez. The only thing I don't like about it is the pebbled wall from Lava Reef (in fact, I didn't even like the look of it when it was actually in Lava Reef, either). Way too much contrast there. I'd suggest you replace that with the rock pattern from Labyrinth Zone, but edit it to make it look like blue ice crystals with glowing red lava behind them. I might do that myself to show you what that would look like. I think it'd look really cool in your ice level. [EDIT] Here. Something like this. Do with that what you will, but I'm too lazy to make that look better right now. Just got finished with a massive college project today, so I don't really feel like doing a lot of detailed spriting right now.
New Crystal Caverns Concept (tring to hash goods from all 3 together)...yay or nay? Also, I am still thinking having Shadow as a playable character in Classic is a no-go. Nack/Fang may be an unlockable similar to knuckles in S3K

Can I just say Hez that your Sonic sprite looks the bollocks! In fact I think I prefer it to all the other classic sprites. It's like all the classic sonic sprites whacked off into a test tube, and 9 months later your sprite was born.
