Pretty nice, did you finish the store system when you spend your rings on items like shields, and abilities for Sonic and whoever you choose your partner in TFH? And I never saw partners in Sonic games (Like Tails in Sonic 2) stand on pushable objects, nice job, and I can't wait for the next release of TFH.

Well, we had a long weekend so I decided to try making a 3D side scrolling Sonic engine. It's being made in my game engine of choice, Unity (http://www.unity3d.com); the model is Chris Senn's model from the scrapped Sonic X-treme (but animated by me), the rest is custom.
Have you made it so you just push whatever you're against, or specifically for objects? ie. pushing against walls etc. or just, specifically, those blocks or whatever you flag as pushable?
I rewrote my camera so that instead of following Sonic 1:1 it smoothly glides after him. To counter the problem of Sonic being too close to the edge of the screen to see oncoming hazards when running quickly, I made the camera rotate in the direction Sonic's running a little bit. I'll try and make the next screen more visually appetizing. :P

wow, the physics are looking pretty good from what I can see (looking at: angles, springs and camera) and some nice SFX to boot (hoping to hear skidding SFX soon =P), I can see that it's in progress what with sonic walking on water and a slight lack of graphics, but anywho keep up the good work
I've always been more of a code than a graphics guy, but since you mentioned it I've spent the last 10ish minutes implementing skidding (sound fx and animation), and it's looking pretty good.

Well gess ill just wait till project classic is done befor asking that again... I think I will start showing it when I get peel-out to work, get super sonic fully done and get the new sheids done.

Is Sonic a constant blue ball or is he going to be replaced with a real Sonic soon? Lookong good so far.
