I'm eager to see more level art as nice as that one

Wow! That looks astounding, ZFG! I personally think the blue shades from the tiles makes for a nice touch to the entire zone; it makes the level feel cool and natural. It has a nice CD feel to it. However, I feel the Robotnik mountains look out of place in the background, but otherwise, the rest is breathtaking.
ZFG, I think that the islands in the background are unfitting and are a bit unneeded aren't they? Try removing them, see what it looks like then. Looks beautiful anyway, that was my only nitpick, can't wait to see more!
They aren't islands, they are giant rocks! You know, the climbing kind along the shore of a giant river lake in the middle of a forest preserve that hasn't been bulldozed to make way for housing developments and Walmarts. Eggmarts?
Well, I figure it's about time I show off my project here at Sonic Retro. Here's a little taste of what's in store for you all:
I think it's a fangame- look how many colors are loaded. That, or someone's FINALLY using drx's S132X source. Regardless, it looks great.
Yes, it is a fangame. But it's supposed to resemble the graphical style of the Sega CD. Also, in case anyone is wondering, the Sonic sprite is mine. Anyway, glad you guys like them. I'll reveal some more screenshots at a later time.
That looks really nice, I say it's got a Knuckles Choatix kinda' feel to it, but without the random shading style. My only nitpick would be the colour of Sonic's Sprite, it looks far too washed-out.
Yeah, because the bush, trunk, flower and leaves are from Chaotix... But anyway, that's one of the best looking level made of recycled art I've seen so far.
Not really liking the seemingly random underground textures, and the thin black lines between some of the squares, but everything else looks very nicely done. (and before some smartass comes in and tells me off, I know I might not be using the correct terminology, but I thought it was easy enough to see what I meant, still)
