General Project Screenshot/Video Thread

I will, as soon as I can figure out how the screen mappings work. I might end up trying to create/load an Emblem Object to use sprite mappings instead of screen maps. =P

 

I made this a while ago for S1 Yarmar Edition. I don't think it turned out too badly but of course C&CC is welcome.

I'm disagreeing with everyone here.

Dithering is fucking awful.

 

Could we get a filtered version of that image (I.e., with Fusion's RF or CVBS filters enabled)?

 

Agree with this, the shades should be single shaped not dithered all over the character..

 

I know the dithering may not appeal to some of you, but the aim is not to see every pixel as it is, but as it would be on the original hardware. It'd be blurred.

 

I still don't get why you have the filtered pic big while the other screenshot remains smaller =P

 

Because it's probably scaled up after filtering =P Fusion does that.

Yes, Fusion can save filtered or unfiltered screenshots according to the setting in the "extras" configuration tab.

 

I'm using an older version of fusion, and just hitting shift+F12 =P

 

So I decided to start a little project during my free time as I learn how to mod Sonic overtime, using Vanilla the Rabbit as a main character. I've discussed this project a bit on IRC, but note, this is my first project, so of course it looks very amateur. Also yes, scaling is an issue I need to focus on too.

That's just my opinion, though. Vertical lines, in fact, may work better.

Anyway, updated Sonic & Knuckles logo, we're not sure if this is final just yet, but it's made to look like the front of the S&K cartridge.

And my standards are far above the "low" bar of everyone else in this forum.
