To those who don't know, I'm part of the team called Neo Team Kyu where we are focusing on SHIMA (Sonic: Isle of Magnetic Artifacts). Will this be in the contest next year? Hopefully =P

Ooh so that's not your 'regular' character pack, you're going full attack on this one. Can't wait to see what you come up with.

One small suggestion though: the right side slant gets way too blended with the underground background, perhaps it could use more of the darker shades of the palette, but not as much as the bottom slant?

Yes, it's easier to separate the two surfaces now. Good job.

 

Ugh- the oil Ocean music fits Sand Shower almost perfectly, and yet also in the worst way possible lmao. I'm just hard wired to hear mystic cave 2p lol

 

I'd prefer to make my own original tracks for the extra zones, but I'm not at that level yet.

 

I'd love to volunteer my services but I've tried writing Sonic 2 styled tracks before and got mixed results, sad to say I'm no Nakamura lol. But that is a fabulous looking take on the desert level, great gimmicks and enemy choices. I know the right music will come along for it too.

It's for a special widescreen version of Gens - Gensplus-GX-Wide.

Although

I guess if you used this hack as a base, then skipped x number of columns when rendering, you could make an anamorphic version that would work on a standard system. It would probably look terrible mind you.

 

Forgive me, I'm not quite sure what's actually going on here

 

This monitor gives you air, but is intended to be unlimited. The original implementation broke the monitor over and over until you were outside of it; although it was hilarious, it caused a fair bit of sprite limit issues, so I made it simply respawn after a moment instead.

 

Well, I was originally going to upload a new Return of Dr. Eggman build (since it's Sonic 2's 29th anniversary), but the build ended up being rather incomplete, so here's a few previews instead.

 

It's still barebones but progress is being made. We still got a few things that have been kept secret for now but when the time comes to show it, I promise it won't disappoint~
