I love your ability to re-purpose art from other sources and make it into something new. Most of it is unrecognisable, and with the right palette applied, makes it look new and fresh. That being said, that last screenshot not only screams Marble Zone due to the grass and the chunk used, but also flips the art for the left chunk without taking into account shading and tile connection. I presume this was done with one of those functions in an editor, as it looks like a straight mirror image of the same chunk. It's a shame, as it really does stand out compared to the rest of it.

The flames on the dying ship doesn't really match the explosions when defeat him, I would suggest you to blend them a bit more.
@TheBald768 Random suggestion, but maybe the balls you can hit back at Eggman could be the wrecking ball from Sonic 1? It might stick out a bit more than the flashing spike ball (also it seems weird you can hit a spiked ball back)
Minor nitpick, but shouldn't the thrusters on the pod be directed toward Sonic since Eggman is moving to the right?
I agree. I should have used a different graphic for the ball. Yes. I didn't pay attention to it... I think I should have turned off the fire.
